At the age of 5, my father got me my first dog.  I instantly gazed into that puppy's eyes, and I was immediately mesmerized.   She was absolutely perfect to me and she was going to be my best friend.   We were inseparable, doing everything together from swimming to sleeping to even going on holidays  together.  We used to play for hours until we were both exhausted and couldn't keep our eyes open.

Through Cindy, I learnt the true meaning of unconditional friendship.  I learnt values such as kindness, forgiveness and love.  I also learnt what responsibility meant.    But when I turned 16, Cindy thaught me the most important lesson… letting go of something which I loved so dearly, the day she passed on. 

​

The very few pictures I have of her bring me a world of joy every time I look at them.  I only wish I had more of them and ones that captured her true nature and unique qualities.

​

Our pets are much more than something we just feed and play with; they serve a much greater role in our lives. I do believe that animals have souls and souls are always set on our paths for a reason.  Capturing their souls through my photography is what has set me on my path.

 

By capturing every shot with passion I eternalize the souls of our four legged friends, keeping the essence of their memory alive.
